Federal Tax Clinic - Summer Opportunities
The Federal Tax Clinic at the University of Washington School of Law is seeking three full-time work-study eligible law students to practice law in the clinic this summer. Due to special rules specific to the Internal Revenue Service, these student-attorneys are able to act as first chair attorneys for low-income individuals who have disputes with the IRS. You will gain experience working as an advocate within the administrative law arena of the IRS. Previous summer student-attorneys have built on this experience to gain employment after law school with law firms, accounting firms, judicial clerkships and fellowships. If you are interested, please contact John Clynch, Managing Director of the Federal Tax Clinic, at 206-685-6805.
