New WSBA CLE Reporting Procedure

For those of you seeking CLE credits for your tax courses, you must now complete a Form 1 Application (http://www.wsba.org/lawyers/groups/mcle/mcleboardform1.htm) for each course and submit it along with a copy of the course syllabus and an attendance verification form (which we will supply). The attendance verification form will need to be completed by you and signed off on by the course instructor. Accordingly, I encourage you to complete it as close to the end of the quarter as possible; otherwise, your instructor may not be able to verify your attendance. In addition, please keep a copy of your course syllabus so that you will have it when you submit your CLE credits.

Please note that those of you who just passed the bar will be able to receive credit for class sessions you will take after you have been sworn in, but not before. Also, you can only carry over 15 credits per reporting period. Accordingly, it will not benefit you to report more than 60 credits, 45 for the current reporting period and 15 for the subsequent reporting period.
