Editorial Board Member Wanted

The Real Property Probate and Trust (RPPT) section of the Washington State Bar Association is seeking one LLM student to join the probate and trust side of the editorial board for the RPPT newsletter. The newsletter is published quarterly and distributed to over 2000 members of the RPPT section statewide. It is read by an even wider audience via the RPPT website. The editorial board is responsible for selecting topics, writing articles, procuring authors to write articles, editing work of authors and preparing analysis of recently decided cases that are relevant to the newsletter's readership. Members of the editorial board have an opportunity to meet attorneys from around the state, become active in the leadership of the RPPT section, and develop professional connections with attorneys practicing in the field. The position requires a dedication to practicing in the areas of trusts and estates, a two-year commitment, excellent writing skills and a commitment to attend semi-annual (or more frequent) meetings of the editorial board.
